Here's Part One if you didn't see it. Beth Jones is a senior threat researcher with Sophos. She stated to PCWorld (another of Doc's faves), "The two-week mark before Christmas is when things start to ramp up out of control. Spammers and malware authors focus on when the attention is going to be there. That's generally two weeks before a holiday." You don't need to be shopping online to get caught in one of their traps. Even checking out email or spending time on Facebook and Twit...

As 2010 draws to a close, The Simon Wiesenthal Center has published the Top Ten Lies About Israel in the past year. I am quoting this in it's entirety. I do not have the eloquence to acieve telling the essential truth so succinctly and I believe it MUST be told and retold. I am tired of reading and hearing the bold faced Arab lies effortlessly and mindlessly echoed by Israel's haters and by antisemites. LIE #1 Israel was created by European guilt over the Nazi Holocaust. Why sho...

Free utility Disk Space Fan analyzes your hard drive usage to help you determine what's taking up space on your hard drive, representing it all with fancy visualization eye candy. Disk Space Fan is one of many disk visualization tools, from the classic WinDirStat to DriveSpacio, Disktective, and others. WinDirStat has always been excellent when it came time to visualize your hard drive usage and knock off space-wasting files, but it's not the most attractive tool in the toolbox. ...

I love finding wallpapers. I love popping up with one to match new skins. I haunt wall sites and have several I check almost everyday.   I also like Firefox (as many do....and also Opera) especially for this new extension I found. Everyone knows or should know about TinEye ( http://www.tineye.com/ ), a site you upload an image to and find it's location on the net. Well, now you won't have to do that. It's enough to right click on the Image and TinEye image search will appear...

Viber Well, Skype has met Google Voice, and the result? A free iPhone app that makes voice calls....VOIP and the cost? Zero. It'll make calls to another iPhone that has Viber using the app and not your iPhone app. The hook? The receiving phone has to have Viber too. Otherwise, the call will be routhed through the iPhone app. If it goes through Viber, you use zero minutes. Now, that's limited, but say you're in a low reception area, it'll use Wi-Fi, and there's the perk of free international ...

Back when, this skin caused severe addiction for a significant fraction of the skinning community, I was wondering is Stardock has plans for renewing and updating "Universe Metal" for Vista and Windows 7?

This is a special story for me as Passover is a wonderful day: A people leaving bondage into the light of Freedom. Two of my three beautiful children now live in Israel. My youngest is in San Francisco.  The boys' mother passed away nine (very long years) ago. On Passover, as on many days...who am I kidding...everyday, I think of her and talk to her about things...the children, life, work, the beauty she graced my life with...especially on Passover...the Seders and the glow she imparted ...

The cycle of violence between the Jews and the Egyptians continues with no end in sight in Egypt. After eight previous plagues that have destroyed the Egyptian infrastructure and disrupted the lives of ordinary Egyptian citizens, the Jews launched a new offensive this week in the form of the plague of darkness.  Western journalists were particularly enraged by this plague. "It is simply impossible to report when you can't see an inch in front of you," complained a frustrated Andrea Koppe...
