James Earl Jones, actor and the voice of Darth Vader is gone. He was known as a versatile and one of the great American actors. He played a large number of roles on screen, and in the theater. He received endless praise and awards including induction into the Hall of Fame of American Actors although his appeal was global. He received the Kennedy Center Award, a SAG Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as an honorary Academy Award.
James Earl Jones was born in rural Mississippi, with a speech impediment. He was a pre-Med student who took up acting to help that stutter. Little did he suspect, but he came to love acting...which he did so well.
Please feel free to add the role which was your favorite. Mine was as the driver in "Driving Miss Daisy".
Oddly enough, as I write this I'm wearing my Star Wars T-shirt...a coincidence, I swear.
Although he didn't play the role, let me say "Goodbye, Darth".
James Earl Jones, you did exceedingly well. Rest in Well Deserved Peace, sir.
