Since we’re coming up on tax time, I thought this review I found about receipt management software might help…if not this year, then next.
It appears here: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-apps-for-managing-your-receipts/?tag=nl.e059&s_cid=e059&ttag=e059&ftag=TRE4e2523d
The reviewer chose “Receipts” (Tidal Pool Software) from the 5 apps looked at, because it doesn’t require you to create an account…just start using straight away. Also
“because it has a clean, easy to use interface but doesn’t sacrifice features to achieve that.” – TechRepublic
It also allows you to photograph receipts and attach them, and
“Receipts allows you to save detailed expense reports to Evernote. Receipt photos, drawings, voice memos, and other attachments can be embedded in the report, and Evernote's image recognition makes finding receipts a snap. Backup files may also be saved and restored to Evernote.” – Receipts (iStore)
Receipts exists for iOS and Android, and has a manual for instructions. I hope the devs create a W10 app in the future…that will depend on mobile device market share, I presume.
