It’s not bad…it isn’t Snagit, or Snap 7, but it has lots of possibilities for use and secondary functions as well as tools, if only for static shots.

It has a very simple GUI with drop down menus…and to learn where to find the major things shouldn’t take all that long. You can upload to various destinations from other drop downs.
A good point is that it has a portable form of the program as well, which could help a good deal during “fixes” of family computers, or if your disk space is low.
Another nice thing? It’s open code, and it has an IRC if you need help, as well as a manual on GitHub https://github.com/ShareX/ShareX/wiki
So…it’s pretty good for a free app and certainly worth the download and examining…as well as looking at the screen shots from the link http://getsharex.com/ which is the download link as well.
