Looks to me like MS is going to be weeding out old code and putting newer and (hopefully) better stuff in. Even better: ‘top level UI surfaces’…replacing/refactoring pieces of code (i.e. Win32 code).
Even better…the new frameworks allowing more frequent updates.
We’re talking Windows 9. We’re talking streamlining.
