Just to inform all Springpad users that indeed, it’s about to die. It will shut down on June 25th.

You should have gotten an email confirmation of this with instructions on how to export your data to “Evernote” (which they’ll do for you). If you choose another app, they’ll email your data to you as a .json file which you can incorporate into your new app of choice.

In their blog notification, they do say there will be another export app coming from them:

“We are putting the final touches on a new export tool that will allow you to take your data with you. This will include an improved backup file that you can save and use to reference your notes in the future in addition to the option to migrate your data.” – Springpad
