I love Auslogics. You probably use their BoostSpeed and Disk Sefrag. Both excellent at their tasks.
Browser Care won’t do anything you can’t do from within each browser, but it affords you a single ‘go to’ window to do it all for all your browsers using the tabs.
Features:
- Keep a watch on your home page and change the hijacked home page, if need be
- Remove unwanted toolbars, add-ons and plugins
- Set your preferred search engine as default and keep a watch on it
- Clear browser cache to unclutter your drive.
I thought this was a rather nice touch: Browser Care integrates with Auslogic's "Rescue Center". This allows you to undo any changes which might cause you problems.
The extension/plugin list for each browser appears in the central window which scrolls. If you decide to get rid of one, it will be uninstalled from your computer. It also has links for more info on tool bars/addons/extensions/plugins.
One minus, though: In the search engine box there's no way to extend the available search engine (i.e. DuckDuckGo). You'll have to do that from inside the browser itself. It will then appear on the list of search engines in the search engine window, as can be seen in my screen shot.
