You misread some of that, the 54 trillion was mentioned as a reference to the total GDP of the world, the amount owed worked out to much, much more than that.

And what really shits me is that the CEO of my electricity provider just took a 1.5 million dollar pay increase, taking his annual salary, with share options and bonuses to $8.7 million... and he is only one of dozens at the company who took a huge pay increase this year.

Mind you, this is in Australia. Sounds like a number of CEO's/SOB's here in the US...

And the number one opponent to the Carbon Tax took.....how much was it last year? .....oh, that's right....something around 36 BILLION....

Just to put that into perspective.....40 hour week..... 50 weeks a year....THREE POINT SIX MILLION DOLLARS per HOUR.
