Ramblings of an old Doc

Thank you Neowin for this announcement!

Any Video Editor is an excellent AV editing program. It does exactly what it says.

It also supports a plethora of file types. It allows you to edit video on a timeline and storybox, trim, and overlay video files of any format, combine audio tracks with video, apply visual effects and insert transitions, add watermark, set transition and video effect duration. You can adjust the video and audio parameters including video codec, video size, video bitrate, video frame rate, audio codec, audio bitrate, sample rate, audio channel. Moreover, you can choose to two-pass video encoding to produces much better results than one pass encoding.

You can Download the code here:

http://www.anvsoft.com/magzine_giveaway_cz.php

Just fill in a name and email addy and click the big green “Get The Code” button.

Download the software here: http://any-video-editor.com/

You have until 8/31/12 to do it.

Another free vid editor to consider is Freemake Video Converter (http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/) but I think Anvsoft’s is better, and there’s Lightworks, (http://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=45&Itemid=184). You can compare free and ‘paid for’ at that url and quickly realize how much you are actually getting for free with the Anvsoft software.

Just downloaded.   No problems at all.  I made a video of a flash rainstorm we got the other day.  I'm gonna check it out.

Nice one Doc.       Thanks.

It's always nice to help, and ESPECIALLY nice to hear people are happy that you have.

Thank you very much, Doc, I do a fair bit of video editing for family members and an additional tool with which to achieve a quality end product is always welcome.

I have used Anysoft products before and found them to be quite good, so I expect no less here... and their apps being affordably priced and easy to use makes them neither cheap or shoddy.  Definitely not, they produce some very nice software

It's a pleasure... an honest pleasure to go bargain hunting for new and old friends and come up with something.

I could deny that the occasional "thank you" is a nice thing to hear, but I'd be lying through my teeth.

So thank you my friends, you're very welcome.

I've been transfering old VHS home movies to my computer that need a lot of dressing up. I'll give this a shot at editing them. Thanks, Doc.
