As you all know, Rainmeter is a very popular customization program. Many of the skins can record your notes, to-do lists, launch and control your fave apps… which can be arranged to your liking.
So… just thought I’d mention seeing the update/release notice on Neowin.net .
You can pick it up here: http://rainmeter.net/cms/
What’s changed? Read about it here: http://rainmeter.net/cms/Release23 but at first glance, it looks like lots of changes from 2.2.
Skins for Rainmeter can be found at:
- http://rainmeter.deviantart.com/ – beware skins not on the curated gallery as they might contain malware.
- http://www.customize.org/rainmeter/skins – I have no specific information as to malware.
- http://www.flickr.com/groups/lifehacker-desktop-showandtell/pool/ – Lifehacker’s Flikr for Rainmeter.
- “Sharing your creations” board on the Rainmeter site: This site is safe, and moderated. Were I searching for skins or simply wanting to see them in development, I’d definitely start here.
What would skinning be about without a screenshot?
