Ramblings of an old Doc

Good old WinPatrol (has been around for 14 years and how many times do you see 24.1.2012.0 on a piece of software?) has been updated.

This is good news since some had reported that “delayed start” wasn’t working and that the x64 bit version wasn’t displaying ‘hidden’ files.

These have been fixed.

WinPatrol has lots of features. Most importantly, it learns your setup and when any program tries to change that, it barks and lets you know.

Here’s a screenie:

Original dev still at it. There's a Pro version and a family pack as well.

I hadn't used it for years until WebGizmos reminded me about it... more than a year ago, and I went to get ir then. Great watchdog program back then and now as well. Has other utilities with it, too.

ive used this program for years and found it to be a great little tool to have, never had any problems with it, never had to re-purchase it, still use the same licence key, it's a good program for pc beginners with plus info, letting them know information that they might not understand, i highly recommend this.
