If you are unable to uninstall your antivirus or security software via your Control Panel, you have the option of using the uninstallers released by the antivirus companies to uninstall their own security software. Alternatively you can also try AppRemover (http://www.appremover.com/) to uninstall your security software. It covers a very wide range of programs. It’s support is very detailed (take a look!) and can be viewed here: http://www.appremover.com/supported-applications
“AppRemover is a free utility from OPSWAT that enables users to remove antivirus, antispyware and other security applications, as well as left over files remaining from incomplete uninstallations. There's no more need to mess around with your registry.” – OPSWAT (http://www.appremover.com/)
Very clear instructions for it’s use can be found here: http://www.appremover.com/about/using-appremover.html
The good part of this app is that it can remove all elements of a failed install as well.
It will detect all security software on the computer so care has to be used in selecting which app to remove or the other app will be corrupted.
I like this one a good deal because of it’s documentation and excellent reviews.
In addition, AntiVirus Uninstaller Tools Pack 2011 which includes official uninstallers released by the antivirus companies also is available. Saves you the trouble of searching for the tool on the software website, and can be uninstalled easily when finished with. CCleaner will do that and remove the registry entries, or you could use Revo Uninstaller at medium strength to do the same thing.

In the left panel click on English to select English language UI. The other choice is Russian (above, in Cyrillic). Click on the software you want to uninstall and then click on OPEN. The folder containing its uninstaller will open. Then, just run the tool to uninstall the specific program.
I don’t know how specific this app is and if you have more than one security/antiviral installed, you might wish to choose AppRemover (above).
