Ramblings of an old Doc

Guess it’s official!  Congrats (yet again), Stardock!

Rick Broida who writes “The Cheapskate” news blog for c|net just published his opinion that “Fences” is the “Best. Program. Ever.

and, “You’ll wonder why Microsoft didn’t build it into Windows.”

I can't get fences off my desktop. I keep trying to use OD and go back to fences. Tried Winstep...went back to fences.  I stare at them and wonder how I ever got along without them. I use to freak when I wquld see people with 200 freakin' icons on their desktop..in no order...and they didn't even know what half of them were for or why they were there. Now I have all these icons on MY desktop...but I have them in FENCES.  I love my Fences. I would do things for my fences I wouldn't even dream of doing for a Klondike Bar. You have no idea.

Startdock didn't make this, the guy who made Fences and ObjectDock has his own company: http://www.oneupindustries.com/bins/

nimicitor, Jeff Bargmann is the Chief Technology Achitect at Stardock and the Founder/CEO of OneUp Industries, LLC. As far as I know, Fences was distributed through Stardock, as Wizard1956 has pointed out. Bins is sold and distributed through the OneUp Indistries website.

Cute cartoon!  I do not know if it is the best ever, but it is up there!

Fences is Awesome!  My Desktop wouldn't be the same without it.

It's especially cool with Large icons (128px).  Although it does have some quirks, especially when it comes to changing to/from fullscreen.  Other than that, it's the best!  What could possibly be better than having an organized, clean desktop, while showcasing your awesome icons?

Got nothing against fences except it still won't work with Deskscapes. ODP takes care of my shortcuts just fine.
