While there are ways to delete various Libraries or files from Libraries, I think this is a very valuable tool to organize and access directories and files, I think many just with to hide them and this is the perfect tool to do it, and restore things if and when they change their minds.
Windows 7 Navigation Pane Customizer is a freeware from door2windows that allows you to show, hide and rename items in the Windows Explorer navigation pane.
1. Run the tool as administrator.
2. Check the items that you want to show and uncheck the items that you want to hide.
3. Click on the item that you want to rename and type the new name for it. Also, note “Libraries” is unchecked. This will hide (but not delete) the Libraries in the Windows Explorer window.
4. Click Apply Settings.
Now the Windows Explorer will restart and the changes will be applied. If you want to restore the default settings, click Restore Settings.
That’s that.
If despite this if you really wish to delete Libraries or files for libraries, I’ll publish the article on that, depending on demand.
