Ramblings of an old Doc

MiniBin is a free recycle bin for your Microsoft Windows system tray area.

Minibin may come handy when you're hiding the recycle bin from your desktop or if you're using a replacement shell that provides a system tray but no useable recycle bin (like litestep or emerge desktop). But you also might be just like me... wanting to be able to empty the recycle bin without the need to minimize any windows.

The app won’t let you drag what you wish to delete to it, but you can easily open the bin in an explorer window to see what’s there, or to empty it. It has low cpu usage and can be lowered in the config window (see my screenie).

It saves clicks and time while you’re working and keeping your desktop the way you want it. It even has a manual on how to customize the icon. It supports all current versions of Windows and Mac, and you can even choose your language.

You'll love it!

Very cool. I have about 3 short cuts to my bin. One on my ObjectDock, one on my Nexus dock and one on the desktop hidden by Fences. Why not one more on the try right? LOL. Thanks for this nice little freebie. I like freebies.

Having the recycle bin in a dock is good enough. Can always put it in the start menu too.
