Ramblings of an old Doc

Like most people, I hardly ever throw away keyboards, mice, cams, etc.

Boy, now I’m glad! Logitech sent me (and a bunch of other folks) an email today that advertises up to a 35% trade in on a host of tech gear for new Logitech equipment.

They’ll probably refurbish the stuff and resell it here and abroad, but hey – “One man’s trash is anothers’ treasure”, right? At least, that’s what Fred (bkGarbageman) tells me.

Dang.... I could make a small fortune on this....
I've been using nothing but LogiTech input hardware the past 1½ decade - and haven't trashed -anything-.

I think Bestbuy is doing something similar.  Not a bad idea.  You do not get cash, just a credit, so they still get your money!

Yep. That's true, but....you also manage to get rid of stuff you aren't using....only to pile in some more.

Want to shop my garage?  I still have some 5 1/4 floppy drives as well as other antiques.

Got any 8 inchers?  Could probably find a museum interested.

Unfortunately not.  I did not start "saving" things until 1985, and 8 inchers were hard to come by then,
