Microsoft therefore recommends uninstalling this tool in advance, as it did last month. Microsoft itself will not do anything else here. This is reserved for the developers of the tools to find a new way.

There is the possibility with which ViveTool and the command in PowerShell ( Admin ) .\ViveTool /disable /id:26008830 undo the changes in the taskbar. But whether this will bring anything for a long time is questionable."

As you can see, MS is recommending removal of certain third party apps. It's the "similar tools can cause problems" as with Moment 2 that has him and me worried.

The good news? Neil says SD's software should not be affected.
