This just in from Carl, aka c242. Here's the translation via the Deskmodder.de site:
"As with the previous optional update in February, Microsoft has renewed the notice that third-party applications such as Explorerpatcher, TranslucentTB or similar tools cause problems with the current KB5023774 or for Windows 11 22H2 the KB5022913 can come.
Microsoft therefore recommends uninstalling this tool in advance, as it did last month. Microsoft itself will not do anything else here. This is reserved for the developers of the tools to find a new way.
There is the possibility with which ViveTool and the command in PowerShell ( Admin ) .\ViveTool /disable /id:26008830
undo the changes in the taskbar. But whether this will bring anything for a long time is questionable."
As you can see, MS is recommending removal of certain third party apps. It's the "similar tools can cause problems" as with Moment 2 that has him and me worried.
The good news? Neil says SD's software should not be affected.
Anyhow, danke schön, Carl. From all of us for the warning.
