Ramblings of an old Doc
Excellent character actor gone far too soon...
Published on January 20, 2017 By DrJBHL In Everything Else

Miguel Ferrer, a fine character actor whose most recent role was assistant director Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles, has died at age 61, of throat cancer. He was George Clooney's cousin.

Ferrer, a veteran of a host of TV dramas and movies, began his career in the early 1980s with guest shots on TV series, such as Trapper John M.D. and Miami Vice. In 1990 he scored a signature role as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield on David Lynch's smash Twin Peaks.

R.I.P., Miguel Ferrer...

Terrible news, as usual.

RIP Miguel Ferrer.

Miguel was oldest of five children of Academy Award winning actor Jose Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney.

I shall miss his character Owen Grainger on "NCIS".

May God hold him in the cradle of His hand.

Aw no, he was one of my favourite actors, and gone way too soon.

I loved him in the screen adaptation of Stephen King's Night Fliers, among the many, many other roles he portrayed so admirably.

RIP Miguel Ferrer.... fly on forever in the night skies. [e digicons]:'([/e]
