No thanks, I'll stick with my ASUS 10.8" Android tablet with keyboard and mouse. I guess Microsoft has to charge those ridiculous prices to make up for the huge losses the experienced on Windows 8, and even bigger losses to come on Windows 10 soon.

Either this, or a next-gen gpu. Oh, the choices... 

This is the Surface 3, a lower priced model. The higher-end ones are the Surface Pro 3.

It's not a bad looking unit and the pricing is better than its Pro counterpart, but at the moment I am quite happy with my 13.5" HP Envy x2 with Win 8.1 Pro x64.  However, IF I'm in the market for another tablet for any reason, then Surface 3 may just be the go.

Actually, the Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3 are priced reasonably, given each has a full OS that will run all your regular PC programs. In comparison, Android is hardly an OS and only runs apps downloaded from the store, which is hardly adequate.  For mine, I'd rather pay the extra for a fully featured tablet that can handle everything I need/want it to do, and frankly, Android units fall well short of the mark on that count.  Yes, Surface Pro versions are more expensive than many other tablets, but given the additional features and capabilities over lesser units, I believe they are priced accordingly. 

Oh......... I want to violently shag this tablet now...
