Ramblings of an old Doc

It’s worth it…if for no other reason than not having to try and remember all those passwords, links and extensions…and yes, FEBE has an actual meaning: Firefox Environment Backup Extension.

“It will actually rebuild your extensions individually into installable .xpi files. Now you can easily synchronize your office and home browsers. FEBE backs up and restores your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, cookies. and much more. Backup as little or as much of your Firefox environment as you wish. Perform backups on demand or schedule daily, weekly, or monthly  unattended runs. Sequential backups can be stored in timestamped directories so you can restore back as far as you like. You may specify "User-defined" items to have FEBE backup Thunderbird, Greasemonkey scripts, or virtually any data on your computer - Firefox related or not.” – Softwarebychuck

There’s a FEBE 101 guide to restoring a profile, there’s a What, where, when and how to backup. There’s a Support Forum and an FAQ.

It’s free, updated and maintained.

What’s not to like? Now, if I can only tempt Daiwa with it…

Thanks. I expect this to be useful. It'll save me the time of doing some of this manually.

Hey Doc, thanks for this. I've used Goodsync Pro for syncing stuff to my FTP site but this looks to be much better as it will back up all the things I want. Good find sir!

Glad you guys like...but, you might wait until it's clear whether Daiwa survives and hasn't sustained a major mutation of some sort...

Also...FEBE isn't compatible with Pale Moon.
