Yep, I tried it here and other than the issue with the double thumbnail images that is all I have seen so far, but then again I have not used it much yet either. Hpwever, I just noticed one other thing. If I turn on Compatibility Mode to correct some WC text layout forum issues, it messes up some images on other sites, makes them really tiny. When I turn off Compatibility Mode it fixes that issue, but then the issue in the WC forums comes back. Only difference I notice is that it is indeed faster than it was before, but what does that matter if you possibly have to keep changing Compatibility Mode settings for each site you visit.

Verdict:  Stick with a different browser, Microsoft has typically screwed things up again. Maybe they will correct these issue in the final release, but I highly doubt it.

Not sure it's MS or those other sites and their formats. IE10 uses hardware acceleration. It might be that you need to switch that to software acceleration (the former uses your GPU, the latter doesn't). You can do that under Cogwheel>Internet Options>the last tab top radio button.

Either way, the preview thumb on the home page doesn't matter to me...I look at them all in the "more" view, anyway.

Doc and Tom thanks for pointing out the image situation. IE9 working fine for me and think I will wait a bit. It is a very early version and hopefully MS will correct it. I'm sure that WC is looking also to see if maybe something can be corrected with the code on WC.

WIZ and others who use or also use XP I believe MS won't be involved with any thought of making anything new work with xp, Just my thoughts from seeing what has been going on.

Thanks Doc, I changed that setting and it fixed the image issue, but then I noticed tons of other issues on my personal site. I think I'll just give up on IE10, not worth the effort to even try to figure it out.

Not sure there'll be a final release of IE 10 for W7... but, I'm hoping.

Your call, my friend. I'm sticking with it. Glad I figured that "acceleration" issue out, anyway. Thanks for your input.

Just one thing: As far as I understand, IE 10 is installed "next to" IE 9. Rolling it back shouldn't be an issue:

I think I will wait for awhile to try IE 10, still running Windows 7 and sites just may have to make some adjustments. 

As long as you make it clear you're talking about IE 10 on W8 (and which flavor), I see no problem... 

Well, I haven't done a lot on 8 yet, been remodeling a bathroom and my head.

But I do see the double previews on WC with it. I'll chime in when I know more.

I'm sure there'll be a final release of IE10, considering the Release Preview just went out a few days ago.  It should overwrite IE9, but I'm not on 7 so can't verify.  The Platform Previews definitely didn't.

If you don't like Windows 8, much like if you don't like IE10, don't install it.  Nobody cares.

Obviously the speed of it is wonderful.  It doesn't glitch on pages every so often like IE9 did.

I like that if my net conn is down or strained for whatever reason (I am on 3g) and I reconnect it automatically reloads pages when it detects a connection.

Other than that the differences are mostly HTML5 stuff from what I saw.
