With the increase in use of internet, the threat of unexpected virus attack on your PC is increasing, Internet Security solutions are must required to stay safe and secure. Most of us are searching for a better security solution these days!

Here is a comparison list of the Top 5 paid Internet Security Suites available for 2011. You can see a top 10 list, also. For me, the top five was enough.

Norton pretty much aced the others out. This isn’t Grandma’s old resource hog Norton, though.

Most of the companies will also now be introducing laptops and mobile phones tracking systems to protect them from theft threat by this quarter. So, lets take a look at top 5 Internet Security programs:

  1. ESET Smart Security 4.0.

  2. Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.

  3. Norton Internet Security 2011.

  4. Panda Internet Security 2011.

  5. Bit Defender Internet Security 2011.

1. ESET Smart Security 4:

Pros: Fast scans; little effect on system performance; few false positives.

Cons: Finished at or near the back of the pack in most of our malware detection, blocking, and disinfection tests.

Bottom line: Eset Smart Security 4.2 is speedy; unfortunately, it struggled at detecting and removing malware.

2. Kaspersky Internet Security 2011:

Bottom line: Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 provides solid defense against malware and has a friendly interface.

Cons: Interface initially looks overwhelming; fortunately, you can ignore much of it.

Bottom line: Norton's nicely designed suite does an ex­­­cellent job of fully blocking and cleaning up active malware.

Bottom line: Panda's 2011 security suite is generally effective, though its blocking of new malware wasn't top-notch.

If you are looking for simple and easy to use security suite then go for Bit Defender Internet Security 2011.  It has Email Protection, Internet Protection, Anti Spyware.

Pros: Offers a good level of protection and avoids false positives; one of the best products at fixing infected systems.

Cons: Having BitDefender installed slows a PC significantly; scanning can be sluggish, and installation tedious.

Bottom line: BitDefender's multiple-mode interface is overcomplicated, but this full-featured suite blocks malware effectively.

Wow.... looks impressive, joshua064 but not many of us could afford that. On Cnet it puts the price between $2,000-$5,000 unless I misunderstood something from your link...
