"Both updates are listed as compatibility updates for Windows 10 Version 1703. To make this clearer: these are dynamic updates and not updates that most users will come into contact with directly. They may be added to Windows 10 ISO images or installation sources, and are also provided during installation when the operating system runs an update check." gHacks. By the way, RedneckDude has noted that MS has requested people not to download and install the Creator's Update be...

It's no secret that Elon Musk (and others ) are afraid of the huge, possible pitfalls of AI. And yes, usually what happens is something we never considered, sort of along the lines of "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.", not that I think the Inquisition was at all like a Monty Python skit, but there are reasons to fear both "minded" or "mindless" machines. The irony is that they can be both simultaneously, thanks to AI. So, Musk has come (it appears) to have come to Dr. S...

Don Rickles is no more... He was pretty much an unknown until one night in 1957, when Frank Sinatra walked into a club during his act. “Make yourself at home Frank. Hit somebody.” said Rickles. Sinatra roared — with laughter. In 1985, when Sinatra was asked to perform at Ronald Reagan’s second Inaugural Ball, he insisted that Rickles accompany him for a comedy routine. Rickles, naturally, did not spare the president (“Am I going too fast for y...

This just in from an early updater to the north of us (me, anyway)... "Microsoft may have talked up the creativity aspects of the Windows 10 Creators Update, but some of the best things about Windows’ major releases are all the little conveniences that fly under the radar. Some of these are truly new additions—USB Audio 2.0 support, for example—while others are once-buried features that have gained new prominence, like the family options breakout within Windows...

I enjoy reading articles in TechRepublic...I found this one very informative as to possible borking with the Creator Update. Mind you, I know folks who opted for early update and it has gone just fine for them, without problems at all.   On the other hand, MS's big updates have a penchant for problems, so you might wish to wait with this one to see reports of problems before implementing the update. This article discusses how:  http://www.techrepublic.com/arti...

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,  That Congress disapproves the rule subm...
